Journal Entry: Missionary Work in Uganda
Date: August 30, 2024
Today marked another day of serving the community here in Uganda. As a missionary, my primary goal is to spread love, hope, and faith among the people I meet. Here are some highlights from my day:
'Morning:
Visited a local school to teach children about basic hygiene and health practices.
Participated in a community outreach program to provide food and supplies to families in need.
Afternoon:
Hosted a prayer and worship session for local residents, sharing stories of faith and resilience.
Engaged in one-on-one conversations with individuals to offer emotional support and guidance.
Each day brings new challenges and opportunities, but the warmth and gratitude of the Ugandan people make it all worthwhile. I am grateful for the chance to make a positive impact in this beautiful country.
April 26 2011, a very beautiful day in Jinja, Uganda-- the 2nd largest city in Uganda. I Oliver W Black Sr. arrived in Uganda safely on Monday, April 25th after spending Easter Sunday in Europe, Amsterdam Holland to be exact. I was of course greeted by my Ugandan family in the warmest possible way, and they were eager to begin studies on practical application of Purpose and methods of discipleship. We began classroom training and review immediately.
